Our Story
In 2010, Mini Ivy opened its doors as a teaching and tutoring center in New York City. The school’s founding members taught in New York City public schools for a few years before starting the school. Mini Ivy’s philosophy is enshrined in the concept that students should excel academically regardless of their past academic or testing performances. Therefore, small classes, affordable tuition, and great teachers are the hallmark of this establishment.

The school utilizes a multi-level approach in its quest to address the academic, social and emotional needs of its students, community and society at large. For example, the school offers a wide array of test preparation classes throughout the year as well as during the summer session. Moreover, the school also provides homework help classes, after-school and summer writing classes and one-on-one tutoring on a multitude of subjects. All subjects are taught by highly qualified teachers who are current or retired NYC teachers who have many years of experience teaching the content in addition to the testing strategies that are essential in achieving a top score.

We welcome you to experience our methods and models of preparing your child for the 21st century.
